Several years ago, while walking my son and his wife dog I came across pieces of broken Native American pottery on city property near the landfill. I suspect is not a complete pot. I would like to have the pot recovered, reassembles, replicates made and donate the original to the Boulder City Museum. These activities are consistent with the activities requirements in the BAS Archaeology Merit Badge book . I have talked with Scout Master Goya, he has agreed to let me make a 5 minute presentation at the Leadership meeting on Jan 3, 2010. As I prepare for the meeting I will post updates to this forum and welcome you comments and suggestions. | |
