Troop 7 Catholic Scout Parents & Leaders: I am soliciting for interest in a group to study and prepare for the Ad Altare Dei Boy Scout religious emblem. This is a program that requires a commitment involving a meeting once per month, study and service, and culminates in a Board of Review and the awarding of the Ad Altare Dei religious medal and square knot during a ceremony next February. This mass is usually held at St. Peters, and the medals are awarded to the boys by the Bishop. Please let me know by return e-mail if your Scout is interested in getting to know more about this program. I am looking to schedule a meeting in early March to get this going.
